This is a series of illustrations from the Children's book The Royal Dragon and the New Kid by Joan Harris, published November 2017. I enjoyed revisiting the characters from Joan's previous book in the series, Christmas in the Kingdom of Kool, and painting them in a new light. In this new adventure, Billy Bob, the Royal Dragon, learns the hardships of being the new kid and aims to help his new classmate, Maria.
